Dear log, here is my entry for epoch 1593442298
Summary of the past week.
We did some in-depth testing for Trustracker and fine-tuned how data is pushed from slots to the chain. Suppliers handle stuff differently from time to time, it was necessary to collect enough data to make sure our conclusions were accurate. For a first integration, this worked as expected. I am curious to see how all systems behave once we put load at it. I spent at least 30 hours or more playing slots on staging. The apps are fine and work as supposed. The frontend changes are coming along nicely and should be done this week. Not much left to do.
I had a chance to look at the CR8 wallet and by far it’s the best-looking one I have ever touched. The onboarding process is slicker than on our wallets. I hope we can take some off the stuff that was learned during the process to make the Token Wallet and BRM even sexier. It reduces the “crypto feeling” to a bare minimum. If you can operate a calculator, you will be able to handle this.
Documentation is still an open topic for weeks now and to be honest very painful. Stuff is now 100% prepared (Thanks Mo) and just needs to be connected by me. Some items have been singled out already and got published. I can’t wait to get this off my todo list.
We are pushing hard to get CRN’s activated again. CRNInfo fixes are pending but almost completed. I am using the extra time to figure a better way of debugging issues. I didn’t have a breakthrough by now but I hope I can figure something out.
There are some pending tweaks for the BRM I looked at. I think those can be squeezed in once we see the first results of the PSP integration which is currently eating most of the development time.
Other than that, I am trying to get more stuff out on twitter riding the wave of Nevada going cashless. I need to figure out how to ping pong info between my personal and the official acc to maximize the impression reach. The rest of the week was the regular stuff, support, maintenance work, and screaming at people.
