Dear log here is my entry for epoch 1594656518,
I am sorry for being late but we had an unforeseen emergency at home. As things have calmed down, let’s dive right into it.
CSCL / CasinoCoin
The biggest news that popped up last week should be pretty obvious: The CSCL is now supported by coinpayments.net. This happened during the addition of Crazy8Token to their services. As the CSCL is the carrier network and fees have to be paid in CSC, it was added as well. I kept telling people that CR8 will be a door opener, here we go.
I like how the guys over at coinpayments.net did put it on their site. I am sure a few of our well know fans will freak out if they ever notice. The integration process went fast and smooth, it was a pleasure to work with them. By the time writing this CR8 has already announced the listing, an official CSC statement is till due and should happen fairly soon. If you are a service or merchant accepting crypto as a payment option, you can now accept CSC and CR8 as well for your goods and services. Tokens that will be issued on the CSCL in the future can easily be plugged in. Another sales pitch.
I finished the movement of all validators, walletservers, and the explorer. For the time being, the wallet server and the explorer are now running on separate systems. I am looking forward to moving some of our backends and APIs to different hardware as well.
Exchanges and services have been informed, obsolete systems will be shutdown starting Wednesday the 22nd. As you never know if there might be unforeseen implications, this will happen step by step. A long ongoing process is finally coming to an end.
My private Full History Node is finally back up and running. Progress is being made! That being said, we can see some of the well known but badly informed trolls coming back. There is one thing that was brought up and I would like to address it. There are currently 5 independent parties that run Full History Nodes (FHN), to be specific: explorer.casinocoin.org (Foundation), csc.observer (Matthew), casinocoinlive.com (wenusch), tribute.host (me) and one by a party that doesn’t want to be disclosed. (Please note that I mixed up the Foundation and the explorer in this tweet.) If you would like to support the project and you do understand that actions speak louder than tweets, unlike some lazy trolls on Twitter, I encourage you to run an FHN. Those nodes store the full ledger. Please note that these will get expensive while we are moving on. I will publish something about FHN’s and why you should run one, and how, in the next weeks. As I know people won’t wait till then, here are the specs I personally use:
CPU: Intel Xeon-D 1541 – 8 c / 16 t – 2.1 GHz / 2.7 GHz
RAM: 32GB (16GB would currently work as well)
Storage: 4×4TB SSDs (Raid5) + 2×500GB NVMe SSD (Raid1)
With growing usage and a growing ledger, you will need a solution on how to increase the storage. The system I use is custom built and can be physically accessed by a friend, which will become handy when we will have to swap the disks. An FHN could act as CRN as well.
I hope for the CRNs to be activated and paying out again by the 15th of August latest. It is not a hard date yet but we are aiming for it. Meanwhile, you don’t lose any payouts, they just accumulate.
I do participate in more zoom calls a day than ever before. To be fair it is with external people and it is mostly about a possible integration or usage but still. On the other hand, it’s a good indicator that conversations are ramping up. We are on the right track.
Crazy8Token
A lot of things are happening behind the scenes and I am dying to let the cat out of the bag, but I simply can’t. Accepting CR8 as payment is now easy as pie without a native integration. As far as I know, there are over 300 casinos utilizing coinpayments.net and it is safe to assume the team is reaching out to them. We are helping out on some integration work and I spent a fair amount on testing the wallet. A few more internal reviews and it should be good to go. The delay is still kind of annoying but good things may take their time. I am trying to get permission to leak some screenshots next week, it’s worth a shot…
As of today, the team hasn’t released a final date but from my point of view it is getting close.
TrustTracker
No issues in the past seven days from an infrastructure perspective. The code and hardware changes we implemented are working as expected. We found an issue parsing bonus/free spins and I am currently digging into the raw data. Just need to see what exactly causes the behavior, but I think it will be a minor issue. I verified the data is being sent already.
In case you missed it, Andrew was a guest on the Blockchain Breakfast last Sunday. Great insights.
In case you didn’t know, TrustTracker is now selling some merch, go get yours! If your favorite casino is still not utilizing TrustTracker as of today, you should tell them you would love them to do so. This works better if you are a customer of them 😉.

You might have seen the following tweet from Bitrue:
I know we can kill this and we should make sure we do! In order to get us a top position please fill out the form they linked in the second tweet of the thread. Most people think they should reply. Here is a direct link: https://t.co/sDz58UdPOF?amp=1
I expect nothing less than a win.
Exchange talks, again…
Still seeing a lot of exchange talks on discord. I think I made my point last week already. If we want Uphold to happen, we need to figure a solution for liquidity, I don’t see this on the horizon for the next 6 months. BUT, and this is what most people don’t pay attention to when I talk about it on Discord: CR8 gives CSC great leverage. But how? Glad you asked! Well, while we can’t fix the liquidity issue for CSC that easy, those issue doesn’t exist for CR8. The target is not to get Uphold to list CSC, we need to focus on getting CR8 listed. This will lead to the addition of the CSCL to their systems. Still, it doesn’t mean you can exchange CSC on Uphold, but it means we are closer to our goal. This is what happened with coinpayments.net, it happened with CR8 and we were able to slide CSC in. However, while we shouldn’t focus on mainly on the “exchange issue”, we should keep it on our minds.
Getting on more exchanges will bring in more people but this ultimately means more traders and speculators. They want to get in cheap, make a profit, and will never look back. Those people will NOT help us to get anywhere. They will abolish the ship as soon as they can. And while that’s totally fine, I am not willing to waste energy and resources on them. It simply won’t help us long term. We need people that are familiar with crypto and gamble. I am not talking about hardcore people. I am talking about the average Jane who spins once in a while. That’s our target audience.
What we should focus on
While talking about focus, the next big topic on discord is Cammegh. I want to state a clear message: Leave them alone. They are working and building something bigger. And the demo you have seen will be part of it. Talking about “wen cammegh” all the time on Discord doesn’t speed it up. It’s out of our control. But we have a similar product, which is released to the market and already in use: TrustTracker. Focus on this one. Instead of dreaming about the next big move because xyz happens, get the word out about things that are live to the market, ready to onboard the next operator! Cammegh will happen when it is ready. TrustTracker is happening. All our focus should be on TTT and CR8, once the wallet is available. Everything else won’t help us at all.
NLExch.com closing
It’s sad I have to talk about it, but they are closing. Please cancel all orders and get your coins off as soon as possible. They are working on a dex solution and I am looking forward for them to come back. Till then, farewell, and thanks for everything you did, you provided amazing services and you will be missed.
Other other
I was pretty busy this week which lead to slower usage of the Foundations Twitter account. I plan to sit down this week and write 30 to 60 tweets ahead and schedule them for weekdays. There should be still enough material to do so.
I am also dedicating some time to get more knowledge on how affiliates work. Doing the live stream and pushing “ads” on Twitter is just a small part of getting some first-hand experience on how those things work. Sorry if that annoys you but I am afraid I will have to go on with that for some time. That being said: You should sign up to 321cryptocasino.com with my ref link, or click any of their banners and you will get 2500 uBTC on us! Make sure you activate the promotions and get 100% on your first deposit.
As you might have noticed there was no stream on Sunday. I just couldn’t make it. I still think it is the best day to do the stream as most people should be free and have some time to spare. It would be nice to get some feedback on this. I am also uploading highlight videos to youtube, starting with the one from the 15th.
Please subscribe to my twitch and youtube channel, thanks.
